Who are you when nobody needs anything from you?
A 4-week experience for people who are tired of measuring themselves by their productivity — built for high achievers, leaders, helpers, perfectionists, entrepreneurs, and anyone in career transition.
Check every one that sounds a little too familiar.
You don't have to show anyone your answer. But be honest with yourself for a second.
You've built a life around being excellent at something.
Here's what tends to happen.
Not how many hours. How much identity.
Drag the slider. Be honest about how much of the pie work is currently taking up — not your calendar, your sense of self.
"How much space is work currently taking up in who you are?"

Who Are You Without the Title?
This week is about seeing the entanglement — how work quietly becomes identity. We name the sentences running underneath the surface: I'm successful, therefore I'm valuable. I'm needed, therefore I matter. If I'm not impressive, who am I?
We teach
- Identity vs. role
- Achievement conditioning
- The difference between pride in your work and dependence on your work
- Why high achievers often struggle with rest, failure, rejection, and being "average" at something
What you'll leave with
A live, in-the-room experience of introducing yourself with nothing to lean on but who you actually are — plus an honest, visual read on exactly how much space work has been taking up in your sense of self. Not your calendar. Your identity.
The Worth Audit
Now we go underneath the achievement, into the invisible bargains: if I work hard enough, then I'll be respected... I'll be safe... nobody can criticize me... I'll finally feel like enough. This becomes the Worth Equation — if I ______, then I am ______ — and then we challenge it.
What you'll leave with
A surprisingly clarifying look at how you'd rate the way you've been managing yourself — rest, self-talk, boundaries, self-trust, celebrating progress, allowing mistakes — and a simple, repeatable way to separate what actually happened from the story you made it mean.
Enough Without Earning It
Not "stop caring about your work." Instead: what would excellence look like if it wasn't fueled by proving yourself? We explore the difference between being driven by worth and driven for it — same ambition, completely different fuel source.
What you'll leave with
First-hand proof of what actually happens — versus what you feared would happen — when you let something be good enough instead of perfect. Plus a simple gut-check for deciding how much of you a given task actually deserves, so you stop giving A+ energy to C-level importance.
Build a Life Bigger Than Work
This week isn't anti-work. The goal was never care less about your career — it's have more places to experience meaning, identity, belonging, joy, and pride. We talk about who you want to be in the rest of your life: friend, partner, parent, traveler, reader, neighbor, artist, mentor, athlete, beginner, person who grows tomatoes.
What you'll leave with
A vivid, personal picture of the life you actually want to be known for — not your retirement send-off from work, but who you hope the people who love you will describe. You'll walk away with 3–5 personal Worth Anchors to return to whenever work gets loud.
"Rejection is information, not an identity."
"Work gets to be part of my life. It doesn't get to be the judge of it."
This isn't another Zoom course you forget about by Friday.
Every part of Work + Worth is designed to follow you quietly through the week — not with more homework, but with better questions.
A beautiful companion guide — not a workbook you'll shove in a drawer. Something you'll actually want to keep on your desk.
Each week you receive a card with one question on the front and a small experiment on the back — yours to turn over when we get there, not before.
A short nudge between sessions. Not teaching — just a reset: "Before you turn today's meeting, mistake, email, feedback, numbers, or lack of recognition into a story about who you are... separate the two. That's work. You're you."
Everything you need. Nothing you don't.

Everything you need to know before you say yes.
Hi, I'm Colene.
I've spent the last twenty years in boardrooms, break rooms, and one-on-one coaching sessions with leaders, high achievers, and people rebuilding after a career gut-punch — first as an HR leader, then as the founder of my own coaching and consulting practice.
I built Work + Worth because I kept meeting brilliant, accomplished people who couldn't answer a simple question without reaching for their résumé — and because I've asked myself that same question more than once. This isn't a theory I read about. It's one I coach through, and live inside of, right alongside you.
Before you decide.
Work + Worth isn't about becoming less ambitious. It's about making ambition safer.
You can want more without believing you are less until you get it.
You can be disappointed without becoming diminished.
You can get fired and still be you. You can retire and still be you. You can change careers and still be you.
You can have an average Tuesday where you accomplish almost nothing spectacular... and still be you.
